Automatically import data from another workbook

I need some code or formula to automatically add data from one sheet to my main sheet where I would like to put all of my data together. I am able to download sheets off of the net and they are in numerical sequence by date. "19991118damlbmp_zone", "19991119damlbmp_zone" and so on. I need to create a button or something to gather the info from the first sheet and paste it in my main sheet and then gather the info from the second sheet and paste that into the main sheet in the next available row.

    Please help if you can

This is easily done with a macro. However, you need to be more specific. Ranges, worksheet names, etc.

Main workbook name is NYC. Secondary workbooks will change, "19991118damlbmp_zone", "19991119damlbmp_zone", etc.

This may be a little more complicating than I expected.

I will then need to copy "a11 and d11", "a26 and d26", a41 and d41", and so on. I will then need the average of "d11, d26, d41, and so on.

I need "a11" from the first secondary sheet to show in "a1" of the main sheet, and the average of "d11, d26, d41, and so on." to show in "b1" of the main sheet.

This is probably a mess, its kinda hard to explain.
