Excel formula help needed

Problem:

Let's say my register date is : 6/6/02
Current date: 1/3/05

I need to use formula in excel to help me to know how many mths are there in between the two dates. cause i need to select those that are more than one and a half month.....if i were to calaculate one by one i dont think that going to help.so ani forumla?

sorry there isn't a built-in function that will calculate this, but it is possible to write a User-Defined Function (UDF) to do what you are after.

However...

I am not sure whether you just want whole months, part months, or what?

Perhaps if you could work through the example you provided so that a) we can see what answer you are after and b) how to arrive at that answer, we may be able to provide more specific assitance.
