Return Key Problems

About a week ago, I went into an Excel document and two things had changed without me doing anything to it...

1. The formula bar was missing
2. When I hit enter (return) in a cell, it would not move down to the next cell

The formula bar was easy to fix, but I still have not solved the return key issue. If I am in cell D3 and hit enter, Excel typically moves me into cell D4. Right now, it remains in D3.

I am not sure how to solve this issue. At first I thought it would be simple, but I am not finding answers anywhere. Any help on this would be much appreciated...

Goto Tools>Option... and on the Edit tab select Move selection after Enter.
