    Cool Cell references..

I have Excel 2002 (well my firm is cheap).

In Cell A1 I have the word "Fred", in Cell A2 I have "=Fred!C2", A3 "=Fred!C3" etc. (The quotes are not included obviousley), and Fred refers to a worksheet.

I reckon that by clever use of Indirect or Index or Offsett, I can change the value of cell A1 and get A2 to look at another value, so that A2 dynaically becomes "=Harry!C2". You get the idea?

i.e. can I set up A2,A3 etc to dynamically refer to the contents of another worksheet Cell depending on the contents of A1?

    Regards

    Answering my own question...

=INDIRECT(A19&"!C2") will refer to the contents of A19 and concat them together, and pow..

    cheers
