Week of Year Formula

I have daily data with the date and the number of units and I need to determine which rows of daily data fall in the same week and then sum the number of units by week.


Help?

I would use a lookup table. In a new sheet create a list of your week commencing dates. Then add a colum in your working spreadsheet and use a vlookup without the false option to look for the date in your spreadsheet. It will then put all dates that are falling inbetween the week commencings as a week commencing in your new column
