    Highlighting cells using a formula

    Hi everyone,
I am not sure what to search for and how to go about this, but I am sure its achievable.

I have about 30 spreadsheets of data that have percentages in them. What I would like to do is highlight ALL percentage values that are less than 50% and shade them in a different colour so they stand out to the client.

There are about 200 numbers (all percentages) in each sheet, and I have 30 sheets to go through, so as you can see an automated process would be a lot easier!

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

    Thank you

Put your cursor in the cell you want to change the color. Select the Format menu and from the drop down menu select conditional formating.

Once you find it, it's fairly easy to use. Then use the format painter to paint the format into your other cells.
