    Cool Highlights Again

    When your doing a spreadsheet and want to highlight a portion of your spreadsheet in every second row do you have to manually go to every second row or is there an easier way?

    Hi
    What exactly do you want to do? If you want to color every other row then conditional formatting is the way to go....try this, first select your data then go to Format/Conditional Formatting, choose Formula is from the drop down menu and type....

    =MOD(ROW(),2)
    for odd numbered rows
    or
    =MOD(ROW(),2)-1
    for even numbered rows...choose your format and hit ok.

    Hope this is what your looking for, if not then give more details.
