Conditional Format a row where multiple dates have expired & email notifcations

    Hello,

Firstly let me thank the forum for having a platform to be able to post a question.

I am a self taught excel user that uses for my day to day management of business for the last 10 years.

I have created a sheet that is a record across multiple tabs for personal information, qualifications and other necessary information. For the purpose of this post I have removed any sensitive information within the sheet.

I have started with some basic conditional formatting to highlight rows if a member of staff is "active, suspended, removed etc")

However my desire would be to have the relevant row that would highlight should a date be reaching its expiry within that row...I have tried numerous methods but cannot seem to get it to work correctly.

As such, if possible to have a page (OM tab on worksheet) that would input text if there was an issue such as "action required immediately" if there was action needed for an operative who has an out of date qualification or insurance. Or if a date were to be reaching expiry "action needed"

It is my understanding also that using VBA an email can be sent if a date is reaching or has reached...

Any pointers or assistance would be great as I can start to manipulate and copy across and use this for other sheets I have that require similar functions.

    many thanks

    Best regards

    Scott

Hello s.terry and Welcome to Excel Forum.
In the file it appears that there was an attempt to put conditional formatting on the Training Matrix sheet, also the OM sheet does not contain any dates.
I deleted the existing rules on the Training Matrix sheet so that the new rule and resulting conditional formatting could be more easily seen.
The conditional formatting rule (formula) is: =COUNTIFS($G$3:$S$3,"expiry",$G4:$S4,"<="&EDATE($F$1,1))>0
