Subtotal Help

Is there any way to ask excel to subtotal a list based on a numerical value?....
i.e. a column of numbers to be added that will present a subtotal at each sum equal to, say, a number >77 but <80...if it can't get to 77 without going over 80, then show the subtotal that is >80 and continue...
