Blanks and fills

I have downloaded data from another source and I need to fill in some blank cells with data from the cell directly above it. I use the Go To function and then select Special/ Blank to select the cells, but cannot remenber the next commands to copy the cell data. Any ideas?

Once you've done that, where all blank cells are selected...

1) press =

2) press the 'up' arrow

3) confirm with CONTROL+ENTER
