    Learning Excel VB Code

What's the best source for learning VB Code for Excel? I've done a brief search for manuals and such but nothing exhaustive...

    Any ideas?

Excel VBA comes with a very extensive help file. You should probably start out knowing what you want Excel/VBA to do, then searching in the help file for that topic. If you are having problems knowing how to do something in particular, post it here and someone will lend their insights.

VBA uses much of the same programming language as full-version VB, although there are some slight variations. If you have taken a BASIC programming class before, then you should already be familiar with the programming logic of VBA. If you have never had any programming education, experimentation is probably your best bet.

I'm sure you can find some Excel for Dummies book at the bookstore/library, but I always find trial-and-error to be the best teacher.

That's how I've learned every ounce of what I know about VB. I've never had an official course in BASIC but have had limited experience with it.

I think a tips & tricks manual would be what I'm looking for. A manual that would give some beginner coding and show what the results would be and that would eventually graduate into more and more advanced coding.
