    VERY newb problem

sorry for the amazingly non-difficultness of this question... but when inserting a new row, how am i able to copy the cell content from above into the new row without dragging it down into the new row. such as
    =D12*1.25

when i create a new row how can i automatically have it
    =D13*1.25

    thank you in advance

    One way I do this:

Copy the row above where you are adding the row to the clipboard.
Select row where you want new row to be.
Now click on the insert menu, and click on "copied cells".
Excel now inserts a new row and copies the contents of the clipboard to that new row(s).

Is that what you want to do?
