saving/Viewing Excel 2003 files in 2002

Greetings,

My first post. Happy to find this resource.

I wish to have another person (sending files long distance via email) be able to open my 2003 Excel worksheets in their Excel 2002. No macros, no VBA. What file format will I need to save the 2003 files in for the person to open and use 2003 files, or will they just open without problems when I email them?

I have 2002.
I do not think you have to do anything. 2003 is a minor upgrade from 2002. http://www.j-walk.com/ss/excel/
But to be sure, go to Edit>Save as... and look at the different Save as Type:
