Are these numbers that you will perform operations on(+-*/)?
If you are not going to add, subtract, etc; then format the cells as text before you enter the number.

To retain the leading 0's, you have two options:

    1. Format the cell as "Text" prior to entering data
    2. Type an apostrophe ( ' ) before entering the actual data.

For example (option 2), if you want the cell to display 0552564, enter your data
    as '0552564.

    Hope this helps.

One final option, especially if you want to keep them as a number for calculations, you can Custom Format the cell(s) as: 0000000 (that is 7 zeros- use more or less to meet your needs)

If you enter 1234, the cell will show: 0001234 and 0552564 will show 0552564. Note that the limit on this is determined by the number of zeros placed in the custom format. In the above example (7 zeros), an eight character number with a leading zero, the leading zero will NOT be shown.

01234567 will be displayed as 1234567
