    Help with referencing please

I'm working on a spreadsheet which has calculations in one sheet which depend on values on another. I'm pretty sure the references are right, as everything was working fine earlier - when I changed the values in one sheet the other sheet updated automatcially. However, now when I change the values in one sheet the values in the other do not change automatically but do update when I click enter after the formula in the "insert function" bit at the top.

Have I disabled something accidently maybe?

And sorry for being crap at describing problems.

    Try:
    Tools>Options>Calculation
    Select: Automatic

    Does that help?

it may be that you have set your 'calc' option to manual

pressing F9 will force a recalc or the method you described

to check if you have manual or automatic calc then click TOOLS/OPTIONS/CALCULATION and make sure it is set to Automatic

    Hope that solves it
