Mail Merge directory v2003

In version 2003, when I click on the Mail Merge button, it opens to an
inconvenient directory. Is there a setting anywhere to change the
location that opens up when I click this button? Please let me know
how to change this setting. TIA!

Excel has no Mail Merge button.

Perhaps you are using Word? Try looking at Tools>Options>File Locations.

Doh! That's what I meant. We do pull from Excel though.
