How to solve?

Hello all:
I want to calculate col A *0.82 and then want to still set the result to col
A,I want to how to do.thank you.

Enter 0.82 into a new, empty, cell.
Right click in this cell and choose "Copy".

Select all the cells in Column A that you wish to revise.
Right click in this selection and choose "Paste Special".
Click on "Add", then <OK>, then <Esc>, then clear the cell with the 0.82 in
it.

My mistake!

*DON'T* click "Add"

Click on "Multiply" instead.
