    Converting a format into dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm

    Morning all,

Have a bit of a problem that hopefully you can help me with.

When exporting some reports to Excel, it is automatically converting time-stamps to the following format:

    Tue Mar 27 20:00:00 MST 2012

What I need it to look like is this:

    27/03/2012 20:00:00 (dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm)

When I format the cells to the above format it refuses to change. However, i'd assumed there must be a way to change it considering that the source that exports to Excel actually uses dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm

Spreadsheet included with relevant columns highlighted.

    Thanks in advance.

The date isn't recognised as a date by Excel. Sometimes first downloading to csv helps.
    Hope that helps.
