I have been running calculator toolbar for many years now. It has been
corrupted and I have tried to replace it. But I keep getting cannot find
alerts. How would I go about removing this file from xla in excel 2000?

Try Tools-->Addins and uncheck it.

I did that, I want to remove it from Excel. I have tried loading it some
many times, that I get about 15 alerts "not able to find"
