Timer, Tally, and Count

Please help with a timer that counts down then adds and subracts...

For example: I want the timer to count down from Xmin to 0min Y times where I enter both X and Y.

Next I want in another cell to ADD 1 every time the loop is completed.

So, A1 X=8min and B1 Y=5 then the timer counts down 5times. In C1 then the counter increases by 1 each time the timer finishes a loop.

Also, I want to do this for different values in different cells all on one sheet so if that isn't possible please tell me.

Also, a little slow on the whole VB thing so explanation and clarification is needed, sorry about that but just getting to know VB.
