    alt-enter if you're typing
    or "& char(10) &" if you're using a formula:

    ="this is line 1" & char(10) & "this is not line 1"

    format|Cells|alignment tab|check wrap text.

    does anyone else get an error when responding to a post with no text? I

    want to switch, too (if it's ok with your company's firewall???):
