    no file menu

A user seems to have removed their file menu from Excel. Using Excel XP
on winXp sp2. The menus start with edit, but ther is an excel Icon where
the file menu should be. Anyone have any ideas?

    Re: no file menu

    Tools|customize|toolbars tab
    select worksheet menu bar
    click the reset button

You'll lose any customized changes to this toolbar, though.

Go to the View menu, choose Toolbars, then Customize. In that
dialog, choose the Toolbars tab, scroll down to "Worksheet Menu
Bar", select that, and then click Reset.
