    condtional formating

    I a dropdown list in column a from row 1 to 49999.

In this dropdown list I have label numbers for tapes, and I have 3 different servers. For each server there rare different label #'s. So I have made 3 different colours with conditional formatting.
Now some of the labels show the wrong colour, even if I look at the conditional formatting settings(they are correct). Why will this happen.

    My settings is eg.

    PRA*
    01*
    0000*

It would be easier to understand / fix your problem if you attach a workbook.
let Source = #table({"Question","Thread", "User"},{{"Answered","Mark Solved", "Add Reputation"}}) in Source

Consider carefully the priority with which your CF rules are applied - some of your cells (A35, A41, A42, A43 etc) match more than one of your CF criteria, hence not showing the format you expect. You need to determine which criteria is most important, set this as top of the CF rule list, and tick 'Stop If True' so that no further CF rules are considered. Repeat this process with the remaining rules, to prioritise them as needed.
