Filter, sort, lookup from other sheet

I am very new with excel and is tasked to do a project. I am pretty stucked and will be glad if I can get any help. I have a database sheet, a chart1 sheet and chart2 sheet. I am required to build graphs from certain information. The interface needs to be simple for anyone to use.

    1) I need to extract data from col 'DP PPM' the database sheet where the col 'L'=1 and the col 'Week' matches the week in the chart1 sheet, else returns 0. I tried vlookup, but did not know how to input multiple conditions for the lookup. And vlookup only allows me to compare the first column.

    2) I need to extract info from database automatically (or with a press of a button) and place it in chart2 sheet. The filtering condition is from database sheetm, col'L'=4, we need to extract the info from col 'defect description' and col 'DP PPM' to chart2 sheet. I only need the top 10 from DP PPM to be extracted.

Is the above possible in Excel as I am only suppose to do it in Excel format. I will appreciate your help and inputs.

You can use an advanced filter to extract data. There are instructions
here that may help you get started:

    And a few sample files:

Under Filters, look for 'Product List with Chart'
