Very large excel file, 12 sheets, filters?

Good morning to everyone.

So basically I have a very very large text file, that is actually a log of all the machines logging on the networks. It has about 800,000 entries and when I import it into excel, and with a special script, it creates new sheets as needed. Well, I have imported and I have 12 sheets now that have this structure;

ILD00411 C14629 24/05/2007 0:59:04
PUD00577 C1305202 24/05/2007 1:03:29
PUD00576 C1305202 24/05/2007 1:06:05
PUD00576 C33534 24/05/2007 1:13:08


I want to be able to work with this data to see who logged on a specific date, or how many times a machine logged on, etc.

How can I create a filter that will affect ALL sheets?

You would need to filter each sheet either manually or with code.

Have you tried pivot tables using the log file as an external source.
