Can I format a column around dates

I want to format a column so that the date that is most current moves to the
top of the column. Is this possible and if so how? I am logging legal due
dates and they vary. Please help!!!

You don't give a lot of details of what you are doing. There is no "Format" that will do what you ask.

A simple answer is to use the Data > SORT > Descending feature, using your date column as the "Sort By:" column.

You could also use the Auto-Filter feature. As you enter new rows at the bottom of the range, select the arrow at the top of your Date column, and use that to Sort Descending...

    Do these work for you?
