excel 2013 issues

I have excel 2013 on a PC. But I am having some trouble with my workbooks. For example, I write something in Workbook A, and it appears blank, however the content I wrote appears in Workbook B. I am not sure why this is happening. But if someone has experienced this before please let me know how you fixed it.

I was also wondering how you guys work with the F functions without pressing fn all the time?

It just seems that it is much harder to work with a laptop without external keyboard than a desktop.

I have used 2013 and am now on 2016, and have never had the issue you mention despite often having several workbooks open at once. Regarding laptop usage: it's just a case of adapting. I use my laptop for spreadsheet work just as much, if not more than a desktop PC, and I don't find it any harder, even using a touchpad instead of a mouse, but I'm well-practised! In fact, in some ways, I find it easier.
