how do i create a new line of text within a cell on excel?

    how do i create a new line of text within a cell on excel?

    i need to type one big load of text into one cell i can't merge them etc
    please anyone that can help get in touch cheers!

    use Alt+Enter after each end of line. Caveat: excel limit and
    specifications shows this line:

    Length of cell contents (text) 32,767 characters. Only 1,024 display
    in a cell; all 32,767 display in the formula bar

    Adding those alt-enters every 80-100 characters breaks the 1024 characters
    displayed in the cell specification. You'll be able to see lots more.
