    Date Drop Down Menu

I am having a problem with my date drop down menu. I want the menu to show the month example (June) and not the exact date example (06/06/06). I still want the data table to show the exact date though.

Attached is a word document of a better explanation with pictures of what I want to do.

    RE: Date Drop Down Menu

There is an alternative I can come up

Create a now column, then use function =Month(A1), A1 = the date you have now
It return to number of the month, it maybe 6 for JUN, or 9 for Sept, then
you auto filter this column and choose 6 for all data for JUN.

    Help it helps

This probably would not work because I print out these records and the sheet would look unprofessional. If anyone else has a better idea please offer your help.

    Thanks
