    Creating PANEL data for STATA

    Hello,

I am a little bis desperate and I came across this forum... you guys seem to be amazing... i have found a lot of great explanations here! So I thought Id join and ask the ultimate question:

I am not really sure about how I should approach the creation of Panel data to be used in STATA... I have 16 variables and a sample of 15 yearly observations for 27 countries. I obviously have 27 different files with the data that i need... and now I am wondering If I should import each one of these files...or if I could create the panel with Excel and import everything as one CSV file!

Please correct me if Im wrong.... but IS THIS (uploaded file) a PANEL for 2 countries? Is this what I should be importing into STATA? (considering that I do it for all 27 countries?)

Is the trick for paned data to just mark countries as a variable? For example giving each country a number like I did?

Thank you so much!!!!! Looking forward to your replies!
