How to reduce file size of photos inserted in Excel

Just finished an entensive household inventory in Excel, including photos of
each item, but the file size is 250,000KB (photos taken at highest
resolution). How can I do a reduction of the file size in the fastest,
easiest way so that I don't have to do each one by one?

How to reduce file size of photos inserted in Excel

Reducing the picture in Excel will not do the trick. It is best to reduce the pictures with a paint software (some have batch editing) outside Excel, Then paste them in Excel.
    Best regards,

If each photo inserted was high resolution when inserted (a few hundred
images), is there a way I could reduce the size of all of them at the same
time, instead of having to go back to Photoshop and reduce each one
individually and replace one by one?
