    Unable To Record Macro

I ran into this problem yesterday. After reading nearly every thread
on the subject and trying 7 or 8 suggested methods, none of which
worked, I stumbled onto another method that did work. Apparently I had
to many macros in my personal workbook. I only had maybe 15, granted
some of there where pretty large. Anyway, after deleting 3 older
macros that I no longer use, I'm once again able to record macros.

You could also try splitting them across more than one code module.
