Retrieve formula linked to closed xls file

Hello

Can anyone enlighten me as to how can i retreive formula result in sheet A linked to data in sheet B if sheet B is closed.. just as a simple example as on the live file the formulas are linked to several sheets.

Tek9step,

that depends on the formula. Some, like VLOOKUP work fine on closed workbooks, others, like SUMIF don't, but the morefunc.xll add-in has a few additional formulas that do work on closed books.

Yes there are sumifs in the formulas which dont display on closed files.

Is there any other source of info that i can refer to for this.
