Question:
How to easily (automated) setup a main worksheet so each row under a column date heading will reference an event cell opposite a corresponding row date heading in a separate reference worksheet and each row heading will reference a column heading from a separate worksheet ? Also, how to easily (automated) setup new reference worksheets to work with the main worksheet ?
Main Worksheet (example below):
Sequential calendar dates left to right as column headings,
row headings referenced from a specific (event title) column heading cell in as many separate worksheets in the same workbook,
each row cell under a date heading would be referenced from a specific column of row cells (event descriptions under an event title) opposite corresponding row date headings in the separate worksheets.
Separate Reference Worksheets (examples below):
Sequential calendar dates top to bottom as row headings and event descriptions as column headings.
Main Worksheet
EVENTS.............1/1/06.......................1/2/06.......................1/3/06...
EVENTS1.......eventdescriptn1.........................................eventdescriptn1
EVENTS2.......................................eventdescriptn1.........eventdescriptn1
EVENTS3.......eventdescriptn1..........eventdescriptn1.........eventdescriptn1
Reference Worksheet 1
EVENTS1.......EVENTTYPE-10........EVENTTYPE-11...
1/1/06..........eventdescriptn0.......eventdescriptn1
1/2/06..........eventdescriptn01
1/3/06......................................eventdescriptn1
Reference Worksheet 2
EVENTS2.......EVENTTYPE-20........EVENTTYPE-21...
1/1/06..........eventdescriptn0
1/2/06......................................eventdescriptn1
1/3/06..........eventdescriptn0.......eventdescriptn1
Reference Worksheet 3

1/2/06...........eventdescriptn0.......eventdescriptn1
1/3/06........................................eventdescriptn1
