This is joining what ever is in cell D4 and G4 with .. inbetween, for example

D4 contains CAT, G4 contains DOG, (or they could contain anything you want, but generally numbers or text. Date and times are a bit different and aren't quite as simple as that)

A4 should then contain CAT..DOG
