The way you described still yields the same results (the example will still yield 8825%)
I'm not sure of a simple one or two step solution that will solve your problem, mangesh, but I do know of a complicated way that will work.
First, create a new temporary worksheet. Select all of the first worksheet, and paste it all to the new worksheet. Goto the new temporary worksheet and in one of the cells that you want to change, add the formulia (example Cell C3)
Copy that cell and paste it to all of the cells where there are the percentages you want.
In the new temporary worksheet, select all, then goto the original worksheet and
paste special and select
values.
THIS WILL REMOVE ALL FORMULIAS IN YOUR CURRENT WORKSHEET.
If you have formulias on this first worksheet then you will need to copy and paste only the select cells containing the numbers you wish to convert to percentages, (hopfully they are all within only a few rows, colums, or easy to select blocks for convience.)
