All - I think I've exhausted all of my ideas trying to solve a problem and am hoping you can help me out.

I have a file on a corporate network with several (around 70,000) links to another file on the same network drive. Both files are rather large which is why we're using links rather than building it all into a single file. On a monthly basis, we have to roll the links forward to the next month's file. In the past, this process took about a minute to complete, but in the last month, the process has continually hung while completing the Edit/Links/Change Source process.

Does anyone have any ideas on what may be causing this issue or potential work-arounds?
