trace precedent arrows

    trace precedent arrows

    I have a really annoying problem with the trace precedent arrows. I have to audit huge spreadsheets of data and rely on the trace precedent arrows. Trouble is, I can be viewing a spreadsheet and all of a suddent the precedent arrows will just disappear without me doing anything other than just viewing the data and scrolling around the sheet. This usually happens after a few minutes.

    Anyone got any ideas as to why this may be happening?

    That could be a result of a timed backup save. Do you have a timed backup set? - if so try the 'precedents' with it not set, but remember to save your work.

    Thats it !! it was the autosave refreshing the page that was making them disappear.

    Ever since I got my new PC, I can't seem to see the arrows when I select the "trace precedent"

    Any one know why and how to put this back?
