i have a file named personal.xlt that opens every time i click on excel. i have done an advanced file search (start, search) and deleted this file. However this file is not deleted because everytime i start excel it still opens. how can i get rid of the file for good?
The file is probably located at:
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART
Note that Applivcation Data is probably a hidden golder that you will have to unhide.
