Give formular a range of cells which selectively creates total based on other column

Hi,

I hope I can describe my problem in a way peopel other then me also understand it ... ;-)

Some terms may not exactly sound you know them because I'm using the german version and do my best to translate them to to english.

I've a one excel file with multiple worksheets. On 'sheet1' I want to have a cell builds the total sum of a column represented in 'sheet2'. However, this 'columnA' in 'sheet2' has many values, and I only want to those values in the sum which have a certain value in the same row in 'columnB', which is also in 'sheet2'.

'sheet1' in cell 'A:A' I want to have the sum of 'sheet2:columnA' but only from rows where 'sheet2:columnB' contains certain values.

From the above example, I want sheet1, cell A:A have only creating the sum of values in sheet2,columnA where there is a value of #001 in the same row in columnB, thus in sheet1, cell A:A should be the value 15:00:00 (it's actually hours/minutes/seconds)

Thanks for any hints
