My question is this, is there away in a spreadsheet when converting it to text to be able to keep a column of numbers formated right justified???

select the column and click the Align Right icon (next to the B=Bold, I+Italic U=Underline)Originally Posted by carley465

True, but Excel has no control over what happens to or within .txt files. On import of a .txt file, if the data appears to be text then it is treated as such.Originally Posted by carley465
To import data and right-align some columns and/or cells you would need either a macro to do the settings, or a little VB code.
