I need some help. The book does not describe in enough detail for me.
I have to create 6 scenarios.
Steady-One: Steady economy. 8% pay raise, and a work-rules agreement is reached that does relax the work rules.
Steady-Two: Steady economy. 2% pay raise, and work-rules agreement is not reached to relax the rules.
Up-One: Up economy, 2% pay raise and work-rules agreement is not reached to relax the work rules.
Up-Two: Up economy, 8% pay raise and work-rules agreement is reached to relax the work rules.
Down-One: Down economy, 8% pay raise, and work-rules agreement is reached to relax the rules.
Down-Two: Down economy, 2% pay raise, and work rules agreement is not rached.

The likely finanical results in each scenario will act as a negotation guide to management. You will run "what-if" scenarios with the six sets of input values.
Perform the proceduers and set up and run the Scenario Manager. Record the six possible scenarios. The changing cells are the cells used to input the economic outlook, pay rate increase, and work rule agreement. (In the Scenario Manager, you can enter non-contiguous cell ranges as follows: C20.... F20, C21, C22. Cell addresses are arbitary). The Output cells are the 2009 Summary of Key Results cells.
