Highlighting non-unique items in a list

I need to create a list of unique codes and would like to set up some conditional formating so that any cells that are not unique will be highlighted. But I don't know what function I can use to identify the non-unique cells. Is there one?

E.g. In the following example Cells A3 and A6 would be highlighted

    Cell A1 = abc
    Cell A2 = aaaa
    Cell A3 = acb
    Cell A4 = aaa
    Cell A5 = abca
    Cell A6 = acb
    Cell A7 = bca
    Cell A8 = bbb

Thank you to anyone who can help.
