hello all..im new at using excel at my dad's office where we are used to the ancient way of doing business..non-use of the computer..im doing a payroll spreadsheet and im stuck with putting in the right formula to compute for the withholding tax (table weekly-x, column R)
this is based on the sheet wtx-weekly
wtx is computed as such
e.g. employee 1 with a weekly gross salary of P2,454.38 and an exemption status of ME1
wtx = Q6(of sheet weekly-x) minus G21 (of sheet wtx-weekly) multiplied by D6 (of sheet wtx-weekly) plus D5
the answer should be 209 sumtin
** the weekly gross salary is not a constant so that the wtx-weekly bracket changes too..
please help
