    eliminate the blank total in my pivot table

    because the data table is ever increasing, I made the table A2:M2500

    My pivot table is designed to show only the incomplete items "blank" in the Completed Date column.

    Problem is it shows the dozen or so incomplete tasks properly and then says there are 560 (blank) ie the entire row is blank

    can you force the Pivot Table to only look at the rows in the data table that are not blank?

    I'll try that as soon as I get to work tomorrow.

    The coworker I did this for is just happy to have a condensed table of her pending projects but it's driving me crazy to have a total of blanks!

    Can you post a sample of your data and exected results

    Could you enter zero in the blank cells

    E.g

    Select range then Ctrl + H > replace leave blank with 0. Then you could use conditional formatting to change the font white if cell equals zero.
