    Assignment Formatting!

Not sure how to do this of course.

I am looking to format a range of cells according to certain text requirements. There will be no # values.

Example, there are 30 assignments per row with required information in columns B through F, the name assigned will be in column A. For each assignment to "John" in column A, the information in corresponding cells B-F in that row will populate an assignment sheet that is broken out for each individial. So basically, sheet A is where the names are input next to each assignment. And sheet B has the assignments broken down per assignee. If assignment is changed in sheet A it automatically moves that assignment to the different assignee in sheet B.

Confused? I am too. Hopefully someone understand what I am trying to accomplish.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    EJ

Go to Tools\Conditional Formatting and you should be able to accomplish this by creating a formula in the cell you want formatted if ="John".
