data validation drop down list

Hey guys,

I have created a drop down list for data validation. I know the default has the arrow hidden until you actually click on the cell. Is there anyway to have the arrows up all the time so the user realizes the cell is a drop down?

Hi,

I believe you can only drop an image onto the cell, 50% translucent, to imitate a button.

would it be easier (safer) to simply colour all button cells purple?
