try to linking worksheets

Good Morning

I'm sure that this is quite elementary, but so am I at Excel..I want to link, or transfer data from a one worksheet to another. Specifically, when I enter a person's name and other data in sheet one, I want it to appear in sheet two. I have searched this forum and used the built-in excel help, but I can't find the answer, at least in terms basic enough for me to understand.

Hi,

Try

Go to sheet 2. Select say Cell A1 and enter the equal sign

=

Then select Sheet 1 and select Cell A1

Your formula in Sheet2 cell A1 will read

=Sheet1!A1
