Hide cells in read only

    Question Hide cells in read only

    I have a spread sheet on our server that everyone in the office can open but only in read-only. I am the only one with the password who can make changes. The problem is that not all of the data in the spreadsheet is for everyone to see. Is there any way of changing the format of a cell so that it is hidden when opened in read only. Any other suggestions would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Hi,

    in (rightmouse) Format Cells, Protection, there is a 'Hidden' which aaplies when the sheet is protected, this should suit your needs.
