excel row number limit

Excel has a limit of 65K rows in a spreadsheet. Do you know if there is a version/patch/hack/option/anything that would allow me to go beyond this limit ?

... or get Office12. This can support many more rows and columns (I forget how many rows but I seem to remember it goes into millions).

Edit : 1.1 million rows x 16,000 columns (last column is XFD)
